Shattered Glass Life After Abuse: I am so Angry - I am Heartbroken

Shattered Glass Life After Abuse: I am so Angry - I am Heartbroken is a recent post in my blog that is more raw than this site. I chose to separate the posts because "Shattered Glass Life" Blog is vulnerable, unedited, off the cuff and more for my own processing than for visitors. I still think the post have a great purpose - I know people who have been abused go through horrific moments or days and it is good to know you are normal for someone who is a survivor trying to heal.

Also you can be encouraged to let yourself OWN your feelings and thoughts instead of censoring them to make them sound proper or acceptable. While you don't need to share - you need to be real with yourself, God and your therapist - in order to be healed.

God knows - He can handle it! And He can help you and your therapist find healing for your shattered soul.

I agree whole heartedly with what you say about how we need to be real with ourselves.

When I blog, I am very open and raw at times... I know some people cannot handle it but I write it for me, it is how I cope:)

Awesome post!

I agree that you need to be real with yourself, God and anyone who is helping you on your road to recovery. Sometimes though it is hard when the people who are helping you on the road to recovery do not know how to help you or you know are heading down the wrong path. Being real is a risk but it is the only way to healing. Thank you for this post.

Thank you! I love 'need to be real'! If we aren't what are we?

Love you both for sharing and I also encourage you on your journey.

I am here for you - and yes! you can be real with me!

God can handle it and so can I - like you can for me!

Thanks so much!

Enjoying the kindred-heart of sharing with others.
